Ateres Yaakov has a Social Hall that can be rented for simchas, group meals, and other occasions.  The elegant spacious room with double height ballroom ceilings, is well equipped for all types of mid-size events:

  • Polished wood flooring
  • Washing sinks
  • Available adjacent atrium lobby
  • Large warming kitchen
  • Large round wood banquet tables and large rectangular tables available
  • Typical capacity of 190 seated guests

 

During the school year, the space is generally available for outside events only on Shabbos and Motzei Shabbos, as well as on select Sunday afternoons and evenings. During summer break and holiday periods, the space may be available at other times.  Please inquire about your proposed rental date and event.

Caterers:

Although there is no "in-house caterer", Ateres Yaakov can recommend several caterers who have presented in the space and who have numerous satisfied clients. All catering in the hall must be certified by the Vaad Hakashrus of the Five Towns and Rockaways. If you have a caterer in mind, please check their eligibility with the yeshiva office. Caterers and/or party planners are required to perform all setups in a manner that does not interfere with the Yeshiva or Kehilla and must restore the facility to the way it was provided immediately after the event. The yeshiva custodial staff can be retained to assist with these efforts at an additional cost.

Fees:

The Hall rental fee is $850 per event, and a total of $1,275 for a Friday night and Shabbos day event.
Ateres Yaakov yeshiva parents and Kehilla membersin good standing, may rent the Hall for $750/$1,075. Large events that utilize adjoining spaces (Shul, Lobbies, Library) and involve significant decoration, props, and rental furnishings, are subject to additional fees. All rentals require a $250 non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation and must the balance of the fee must be paid prior to the event. The caterer must make arrangements directly with the Yeshiva office for a security deposit and adequate insurance coverage.
