The day began in Flatbush with a visit to Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, shlit”a, who himself farherred the bochurim on their limud, Masechtas Kiddushin. Rav Lieff shared his own chiddushim, offered words of chizuk and inspiration, and bestowed his brachos upon the talmidim.
The shiur then visited Rav Avrohom Schorr, shlit”a, who likewise engaged the talmidim in a lively discussion on the Masechta. The boys demonstrated an impressive command of the material, after which they had the zechus to receive the brachos from Rav Schorr and greet him personally.
The day concluded with some time spent on Avenue J and Coney Island Avenue, including lunch at Essen Deli, before returning to yeshiva for Minchah. It was a memorable day that combined the satisfaction of accomplishment with the invaluable opportunity to meet and learn from distinguished Gedolei Torah.
