Mr. Pesner chaired the Freeport School District’s Science Department and was honored with an
Outstanding Teacher of Nassau County award. He taught workshops for the NYS Science Teachers’ Association, including “Motivation of Students in the Learning of Science” and “The
Teaching of Science through Magic.” His articles about innovative teaching techniques have been
published in many educational periodicals. Mr. Pesner has performed in films and Off-Braodway
shows!
